Hop on a Bike
July 12th, 2014
Raleigh has just announced plans for a bike share program after a study found that the population density, plus tourist activity, make it feasible.
155 sites were recommended by citizens and 30 are expected to be chosen – mostly inside the Beltline plus a Midtown stop and the NCMA
One of the as-yet unanswered questions is how the initiative is going to be funded. Most other bike share programs across the country are owned by the city and operated by a private contractor.
